The DaYan ZhanChi 2017 is the latest version of Dayan ZhanChi series! This is an improved version of the previously iconic DaYan ZhanChi. Dayan was released 6 years ago but recently DaYan has completely revamped the classic ZhanChi to include current speedcubing features while preserving some of the basic design aspects from the original puzzle.

Overall, The ZhanChi 2017 is the better version of the classic ones, featuring a rounded center and a capped edge and corner design, along with grooves along the interior to provide a smoother feel to the cube.
