Mopar Tools 8215A-1 Valve Spring Compressor Bridge
The Mopar Tools 8215A-1 Valve Spring Compressor Bridge is a specialty tool designed to be used with pieces from the 8215 Compressor.
This tool is specifically used for servicing the Rocker Arms in 2001 JR Vehicles equipped with 2.7 Liter Engines.
To use this tool, follow these steps:
1. Begin by removing the necessary components to access the Rocker Arms. This may include removing the valve covers or any other obstructions.
2. Once the Rocker Arms are exposed, identify the specific Rocker Arm that needs to be serviced.
3. Attach the appropriate components from the 8215 Compressor onto the Rocker Arm. These components should include the Valve Spring Compressor Bridge and any other necessary pieces.
4. Ensure the Compressor Bridge is securely attached to the Rocker Arm.
5. Using a wrench or socket, slowly tighten the Compressor Bridge to compress the Valve Springs on the Rocker Arm.
6. Once the Valve Springs are compressed, you can proceed to service or replace the necessary components, such as the Lifters or Pushrods.
7. After completing the necessary repairs or replacements, slowly release the tension on the Compressor Bridge by loosening the wrench or socket. This will allow the Valve Springs to return to their original position.
8. Carefully remove the Compressor Bridge and any other attached components from the Rocker Arm.
9. Repeat these steps for any other Rocker Arms that need to be serviced.
